After checking in, you will be given a tour of our meditation room and library, relaxing lounge area, float rooms and restroom/vanity areas. We recommend not shaving, eating much or consuming caffeine/other stimulants for a few hours prior to your float. Following your orientation, you will be shown to your float room.
Showering before and after your float is important for keeping the float solution clean and removing all the salt. We have everything that you need to float including towels, earplugs, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, blow dryers, and other products to ensure comfort.
The post-float glow is a common after-effect. You may also experience heightened senses, creative inspiration and deep relaxation. You are welcome to enjoy these benefits in our lounge for as long as you’d like. Water and tea will be available as a courtesy as well as other refreshments for purchase.
For more about what to expect from your first float,
We have three Royal Spa Float Pods and one Superior Quest Float Suite
Although different presentations, once you turn the lights off, both offer 10″ of our ~30% Epsom salt solution to float in and a whole lot of nothing else. Most floaters feel comfortable in either environment, but the suite has a much taller ceiling and is about a foot longer making it more comfortable for those who experience true claustrophobia or who are taller than 6’4″ or so. We hear all the time that our floaters are “claustrophobic” but once they see the pod, they express that’s it’s much larger than they were expecting. These are the two manufacturers who are pre-approved by the Florida Department of Health so we decided to give them both a try at our first location in Deerfield Beach.
Pod: 5’W x 7’1.5″L x 4’H
