We are confident we can provide a safe float environment but to do so, we have instituted some new procedures and guidelines.

Coronavirus Guidelines

  • We are staggering float times the best we can to limit interaction and appreciate your patience when we can’t.

  • Our staff will be wearing masks. We also require all floaters to wear a mask while in our common areas. You may remove it once you are in your float room. We will have masks available if needed.

  • Our employees will be tested every two weeks, and we will take and log employee’s temperature at the beginning of each shift. Any employee with a temperature above 100 will be sent home.

  • If you feel sick or have been exposed to anyone in the past 14 days who has been sick, please stay home. We are waiving our cancellation fee. If you receive an email saying that you have floats expiring, we are extending expirations so please do not panic.

  • We will prop the front door open when possible for easy entry. If another floater is in the reception area, please wait outside until the area clears. Please be patient and move through the space mindfully, limiting what you touch and keeping a socially safe distance (at least six feet) from our staff and any other floaters you may encounter.

  • Sanitizer will be available at the front desk and tea bar. Please sanitize your hands upon entering our reception area. Our staff will be washing their hands and sanitizing touch points often.

  • We ask that you please complete your waiver (for first time floaters) and put a credit card on file prior to your float so that we can provide touch free check-in and check-out.

  • Refreshments are limited for the time being. Water is available in disposable cups to fill at our touchless water filling station. Kombucha is available for purchase to-go. Ask your float facilitator if you’d like a cup of tea to-go.

Sanitation

We always take our sanitation processes seriously, but we have ramped up efforts. All hard surfaces that our floaters come in contact with are wiped with an EPA approved disinfectant. In addition to our normal processes, we will be sanitizing the entire inside of the float tank, shower and bench with a peroxide solution.

As far as the float solution, the CDC issued this statement: “There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection of pools and hot tubs (which is how float tanks are categorized by the State of Florida) should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”
