Float8 Wellness Lounge provides a serene and clean environment for you to step outside your restricted reality and inside your infinite being. No gravity. No light. No sound. Pure nothing. You won’t be fighting gravity. The Epsom salt solution (1,000 lbs of Epsom salt + 180 gallons of water) will make you extremely buoyant. The water is kept at 93.5 degrees, the temperature of your skin, which means you won’t be too cold or too hot in the pod. You will lose track of where your body ends and the water begins. The pods are insulated against sound, and your ears stay just below the water. Noise from the outside world will fade away.
After you close the pod and turn off the light, you float in total darkness. During your float, the outside world doesn’t exist and amazing things happen! Floatation therapy is a powerful tool for wellness, relaxation, pain relief and better sleep. It offers benefits which are cumulative; so the more you float, the better it gets.
Your mind is free to focus or wander without distraction, your brain pumps out dopamine and endorphins, and your body gets to rest, de-stress and heal, leaving you with a pleasant post-float glow that can last for days. For these reasons, we encourage first time floaters to take the Intro3 30-day Float Challenge to get the full Float8 experience.
